I wish I had this little cartoon to demonstrate why I didn't want to go to Wal*Mart to the last production I was working on. I did have them get thier stuff at as many local establishments as possible. Revenge of the Hippie Fetch Monkey!!!

Well...at least it wasn't political. Cute though!Except that it was political--it just wasn't partisan. That's what I think makes it so effective. The effect that big box retailers are having on the US economy is a political issue that cuts across economic, social and political lines, which is what makes this video so easy to relate to. Now the question is which politicians will be able to turn the sentiment expressed in the piece into votes.
