"Common Sense Discovered On ProtestWarrior.com"
(William Young, the Internet, FAPFAP.ORG)
Conservative political theory merely moments ago made an extraordinary and revolutionary breakthrough in its philosophy, its coherency, cogency, and several dozen other things that rhyme with those three. Upon the ProtestWarrior.com forums, at around 10:20 P.M. (EST), a major discovery was made. Political scientists claim that supposedly there is this inherent sense, and innate human ability of gaining knowledge aside from going to FreeRepublic.com, signing up for the GOP's newsletter, or watching Fox News. Political scientists are thus far dubbing it "common sense," asserting that it was actually almost discovered by the Christian philosopher, Thomas Aquinas, in the 11th century. The discovery was made after the following post was made to the ProtestWarrior forums:

Immediately following the supposed discovery, many Christians from the religious right as well as Neoconservative atheists pretending to be Christian charged that "common sense" is a poorly-founded theory that has no basis in reality.
Christy McChristiansen, head of the organization, CAT (Christians Against Tolerance), remarked, "Political scientists? Who are these scientists? Are they Christian? Are the Muslim? Are they gay? I want to know!"
Many stated that common sense inherently violates the Bible, on the grounds that believers in Christ have the Holy Spirit, which allows them to see things more rationally, while disbelievers' perceptions are clouded by Satan. "Common sense" also implies that God is not all-powerful. Because what is "sense" is whatever God decides it should be at the present moment, meaning, that what's common sense now could be something entirely different in the future. And they claim that the only reasoning we should use is that which is based on the Bible. Furthermore, "common sense," also may have its roots in secular humanism. So, the idea that we all have an equal ability to be rational and have some secular, worldly, godless means of gaining knowledge which stems from anything but God is tantamount to atheism.
Meanwhile, conservatives who conceded that common sense existed had several other comments to make. For example, Will McReilly, a prominent Conservative journalist wrote in his blog:
Liberals Won't Be Laughing Forever
Will McReilly
Liberals can go ahead and laugh, claiming that we're 'behind the times' for discovering common sense so late in our history. But remember, the Nazis used to say that we were 'behind the times.' Marx, Lenin, Stalin, Mao, all of these men told us that we were 'behind the times.' Even today, terrorists are basically Muslim progressives -- just like the radical progressives in Canada and Europe (especially France), except one wants to setup a Muslim theocracy, while the other wants to establish an Atheist theocracy. Of course, they both want to persecute Christians, nonetheless. And this progress simply for sake of progress, these hippies demanding immediate reform that's tyrannical, oppressive, and wants to turn us into a cultureless, classless, Communist state -- terrifies me. Not in the way that a velociraptor trying to kill me would terrify me. It's more like looking at someone running at me through the scope of my double-barrel 12 gauge as they trespass on my land.
But what I'd like to know is: Why didn't Clinton discover common sense? There are reports circulating that Clinton's chief-of-staff had discovered common sense, but Clinton, as we know now, had apparently been covering it up. Why? We can't say yet. However, it's for certain that a lot more went on in that administration and we won't know for many years.
Needless to say, much controversy has been stirred and the face of Conservatism as we know it today has been undoubtedly changed forever.
