My ideal country

.100% separation of Church and State. A totally secular government.

.Gay marriage, abortion, capital punishment, gay adoption, euthanasia, and other social issues would be left up to individual states to decide.

.All recreational drugs would be legal.

.No antitrust laws, no tariffs, no business regulations, no minimum wage laws, no corporate welfare, no special favors for businesses.

.No Social Security, no social welfare, no food stamps, no government funding for or involvement in healthcare, etc.

.A 100% neutral, non-aligned, non-interventionist foreign policy. We will recognize every country and trade with every country (no trading arms, though), but will not intervene in conflicts that are of no concern to us.

.Military spending will be about 5% of what it is now. No draft. Military service will always be voluntary, without exception.

.As much free speech as possible, protected to the fullest extent possible. All censorship laws will be repealed.

.The right to privacy will be protected vehemently.

.All gun control laws will be declared null and void.

.All federal funding for education will end. Education will be the responsibility of states, local governments, and individuals.

.Affirmative action will end. The government will be color-blind, with an "equal rights for all, special privileges for none" policy.

.Abolish the Federal Reserve and IRS, abolish the income tax, and return to the gold standard.

.Repeal the 17th Amendment (direct election of senators).

.Give Guam, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, etc. independence, but only if they wanted it.

.Drastically slash government spending in all areas.

.Law and order related issues will be left exclusively to the states.

.All government funding of the arts, science (except defense-related), etc. will be ended.

.The duopoly on power held by the Democratic and Republican parties will be ended.

.Amnesty will be granted to all illegals currently in the country, but all illegals who enter the country in the future will be expelled.

Well I can't agree with you on the economic issues of course, I wouldn't flee the country in terror or head for the hills in a desperate attempt to bring on the revolution.

I disagree with 2, 4, 5, 11, 12, 13, 14, (maybe)17, 18 and 20. Which is about half the list. So I give it a 5/10.

Agreed. There's already a country up that has almost the exact same platform anyway. LOCKINATION COMMENCE!
