I just had to share this with you lot.
Burberry have taken great offence at the use of their trade mark 'tartan'.

Not with the use of it by football hooligans and yobs who have turned their scarves and baseball hats into some bad taste "uniform", but with a small time pet shop owner.

To be quite honest, if it came to it and my company was being associated with these things, I would much rather be associated with the ferret clothing.

But of course it's easy to be offended with a small time guy who has taken about 20quid out of their pockets as opposed to the chavs and yobs of this world who are actually making them money isn't it?

Bishop shouldn't have used the Burberry name for his product, but it's not like Burberry can trademark tartan. That's just silly.

Burberry can go fuck themselves because: a) they stole that pattern to begin with, its thomson camel, and b) they then went a sued many scottish mills and forced them to stop producing it because it is a "Burberry" trademark.

So this is just more of the same burberry shit. Mind you, even before chavs, only gits wore burberry.

For anyone who wants to see who should actually own the rights to that pattern in any case.

Yes he was, but for goodness sake.....
If you were in this country you would see the amount of crap that is made in the same 'type' of pattern, so why bother with this guy is beyond me.

And unfortunately, as Lacadaemon has said they can and they have trade marked it.
