They're actually quite helpful if you want to use them to look up a person's posting history (for instance, in RPs, I often perform "background checks" on a country before I sell weapons. I usually do that by looking through their post history to see if their views conform with mine).
Besides that, it makes it a lot easier to put people on your Ignore list.

Besides that, it makes it a lot easier to put people on your Ignore list.
