...well, normally I'm in favor of whatever team that's closest to my home. Which was the Anaheim Angels.
But it seems that overnight they...changed their name? :confused:...wtf...LOS ANGELES Angels? Wouldn't that confuse the Spanish-speakers?

The full name is - ahem - The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. :) So they kept the distinction..
Anyhow, I'm also conflicted.. I'm from Chicago, (although a Cubs fan) but I live 5 miles from Anaheim, and became a fan in 2002.. so.. :confused: So I have some happy memories both of Comiskey Park (the new one) and Angel Stadium, as it was called when I used to attend games (as opposed to Edison Field). So I'm just gonna watch and wait, and support either one in the World Series, no matter which it is. :)

The Pittsburgh Pirates of Allegheny (this would also go for the Steelers)
The New York Yankees of The Bronx
The New England Patriots of Foxboro
The New York Jets of East Rutherford (New Jersey, heh)

Yeah, it's really stupid. At least all but two of the teams I mentioned are within the boundaries of their respective cities (Foxboro being about thirty miles outside Boston, and East Rutherford being in New Jersey, as well as another county).
