I have taken to listening to Shoutcast and hitting the Folk genre for Balkans folk music of all sorts...
I am a fan of Zabranjenje Pusenje, and of more traditional sounds The other music I like is Wierd Al Yankovic, he is funny and I've been a fan since he got his start on Dr. Demento.
I like the Red Hot Chili Peppers and old Van Morrison too. We danced a nice kolo to 'Brown Eyed Girl at my daughter's wedding, and that song came out ages ago. Good music never dies!
For classical, I rather like Haydn and Lizt. Chopin too. I like most of the Russian composers too.
I like Ra'i music, especially that guy who does the Arabic 'Rock the Casbah' cover. Taher something or other.
Also like Bhangra, that's some good stuff, and even a little Goth singer from Australia named Visnija, which meand 'cherry'

Sashtocovich could take him.

You mean Shostakovich. I heard that he was always on the verge of getting sent to Siberia for pushing the limits of what was allowed in Soviet music.

I prefer classical music, particularly Bach, Beethoven, and the others of that general time period.
