I have the opportunity to study at Tsinghua University in China, supposedly their version of MIT. The whole summer trip (15 weeks) will give me a Chinese business minor and will meet many requirements for my international business major.
Now the problem I have is that I hadn't really planned on doing Chinese. Yes, my major requires me to study abroad, but I wanted to go study GERMAN and go to GERMANY. I've been there before, and I dare say they have business down like a religion there. Beautiful place, and I love the language. This has been my plan since before college (I'm a freshmen).
If I take the Chinese offer, then I forsake any chance I had with doing German. And yes, I know all the advantages of knowing Chinese and their culture due to their rapid growth and potential, and I'm willing to take Chinese and do the summer abroad next year (which is why I'm so torn, and thus asking for opinions).
HELP ME PLEASE! What should I do, Chinese or stick with German?
