Bundesstag recently held a general election in which The DSP got 29 seats and the conservatives got 27 seats and the two of them arent looking likely to form a coalition with any other party so im asking the more expirenced people on this forum what should i do?

can i ask the person who voted for appoint a chancellor who would i appoint?
and to everyone else feel free to comment on the situation

yes this is alot like the german parliment but i put a thread on the other day for my general election and this the parliment that you the people voted for

DSP-29 SEATS
Conservatives-27 SEATS
SDRP-11 SEATS
RP-7 SEATS
PDS-6 SEATS

no party has a clear majority so what do i do

i think i let voting on this go on for a few more hours and then think it over but i think another election should called but i think more parties would be needed so any other parties that you would like to see other than DSP,Conservatives,SDRP,Reason party and PDs

I'm going to have to echo that sentiment. What is this, and why haven't I heard anything about it? More importantly, why do I care? I like the idea of having lots of seats to fill [80 seats would be more interesting than 25, if properly executed] but I highly doubt you'd ever find 80 folks willing to debate and/or vote regularly. Hell, I have my doubts about the real Parliament gathering enough steam to do this. Last time we all sorta sat around.

That is a fair point and it looks like the polls are favouring a new election but my worry is what if people dont change their minds

just to outline the party or parties that get the most seat i will ask the party to nominate a person the becaome first minister and deputy first minister aka Chancellor and vice chancellor and these two people will make all the decisions for my country when issues come up they decide what position the government takes. i am just a figure head

what fi theres another draw, are you just gonna keep olding these elections, which are rather pointless i must say.....

well if there is another draw then i will just appoint a the nominees of the two largest parties

these election ok are pretty useless but its democracy and everybody is getting a say on how a medium sized fictional country is being run
