Meh, not knowing who your biological parents were is overrated. It's nice with college (I was like: "Just try and prove I'm not an American Indian, bitch!"), but not so good for medical purposes, when genetic defects start poppin' up, and you're like "wuh?" and your doctor's like "beats me.." Yeah, it's better to know who your parents were.
No....
....although if she were, I wouldnt hold it against her.... ;)

not me, i'll take the risk... in pa you have to go before a judge to find out... i wanted to know when i was younger, but my sister change my mind. i asked her is she wanted to know and she said,"naw i figure they're probably scumbags" and i thought, ya know she's really got a point there.

Interesting... I'm adopted, and although I don't know how old you are I do know that 19 years ago at least (and for a long time before that) in the UK as much genetic testing as possible was done on children put up for adoption (since they'd never have an accurate family history to fall back on) to provide them with that information. 's a shame to hear it doesn't or didn't happen in the USA, man, you have my sympathy. However, this thread is spam, and is getting reported as such.

Yeah, except the judge can only release papers to you if they exist... ;) In any case, yeah.. I figure the same thing.

Well, I'm 21 and not in the U.K., and in any case my adoptive grandfather was a lawyer, and pulled some strings as a favor to his daughter. Even if he were still alive, he wouldn't know any more than me.
