I'll always root for a Michigan team against an out of state team. I go to Central Mich and I'd cheer for Western over a team from out of state.

For what its worth I was rooting for State over Michigan this year, mainly because State has a better chance of doing anything this year. The Wolverines just don't have it this year.

Whts all this abt a brown jug

The little brown jug was left in Minnesota by the Michagan football team in 1903 they asked for it back and Minnesota said come and get it. Ever since then the two teams have battled for the jug ever since. It is the longest running battle between two football teams over a possesion in the US.

CMU?

Fire up Chips?

Yep, that'd be the one. Although I had a bit of a moral dilemma on Saturday because I used to be in the Army, so I had to choose between Army and CMU. I ended up just not watching it, rather than pick one.

This sounds a lot like the Ashes. Maybe it's a year for the returning of trophies to their original owners.
