I don't care what my roommate says

I love cartoons, and TFO is hilarious :)

I mean, what could be wrong with it? Why is 18 "too old" for cartoons? Anyone know?

Tell 'im to go perform an impossible act upon his own body! Heh! I'm 62 and I love cartoons, especially the old one, like Bugs Bunny, RoadRunner, etc. ( And those of you so inclined can just cool it with the "old means forgetful" stuff! I've always been this way! ) :p

In terms of Nickelodeon:
Avatar > TFO
I just noticed that TFO is just one 'G' away from GTFO. ROFL

Yep. Someone on the internet parodied it, but I lost the link. It was hilarious.

Between TFO, Invader Zim, and the good ol' Rocky and Bullwinkle shows, I can't believe people say that cartoons are for kids. Some of those jokes just don't make sense unless you're above a certain age.

There's nothing wrong with watching cartoons. Ask your roommate if he liked the last Simpsons-Episode.

I'm a 31-year-old woman, and I LOVE cartoons. Everything from Spongebob to Southpark and Drawn together to Shrek. They are brilliant! Brilliant, I tell you!

Ok, all right, not all of them. But they're no better nor worse than the crap presented to the adult audience.

I love cartoons! Not so much Japanese anime, nowadays, but I do like Case Closed, Gundam Wing, Teen Titans, Fairly Oddparents (Cosmo forever! Down with Super Toilet!), and some classics, like the ones that got me into them, like Rocky and Bullwinkle, Under Dog, and others (for the record, I'm 17).

You see, thats my problem though: if I get too attached, I'll start this impulse where I have to buy everything of the series' in sight, so I just stick mainly with manga nowadays (although I wouldn't mind getting the Last Exile dvds for my b-day....)

The reason in my original post I said I 'used to' be a fan of anime is because I've since found it to be more or less then same... I mean, the storylines are great, but the way they speak, like where they just open their mouths arbitrarily instead of clearly anunciating syllabel (spelling?) kind of bugs me. Other than that, I try to keep it with kid's anime, don't like the whole perv/hentai scene.

TFO is the only cartoon mainly aimed at little kiddies I still like to watch. Cartoon films are also great, but the shows are often repetitive.

Ya know, I have to point out that having watched many MANY reruns of cartoons I grew up watching, I didnt ever really catch all the innuendo until I was older.

I love watching cartoons - nothing like catching a reference to some obscure movie or book that most people dont catch.
