While it's a great sentiment it's not going to make a jot of difference. Nation will still go and blow up other nations with big planes for no good reason (other than they want their oil) and civilians will still die in their millions in famines caused by corrupt governments and civil wars.
Admittedly Belgium is not likely to be involved in any of this. Preaching to the converted springs to mind.
