...it is also cold and windy.

But I am going out there to run through muddy fields for an hour or two.

Because I find it relaxing.

Last Sunday was about the same for me.
It was heavily raining, but around noon, I wanted to go and get myself lottery tickets, as the pot was quite nice(more than 3mil $). It's a habit of mine and I usually go and fill my numbers in the last couple of hours before they stop selling for that week.(The draws are held on Sunday evenings, so they stop selling tickets at 2 PM).
I saw that the water was getting above the sidewalk at the end of the street where I live, so I tried to detour around the block.
By the time I reached the corner of my street on the side route, there was water all around me, so I had to go through water reaching above my knee. At least I didn't have to swim.
I caught a flu the next day, I guess getting soaked helped a lot...
Here's some pics from other parts of the city that had the same fun...

Oh, and I didn't win anything at the lottery draw either

No rain here. :(

Saturday tends to be my lazy day on the weekend, when I am avoiding grading as much as possible. Therefore, I tend to do random things, like go putter around in the backyard for awhile, go shopping at Costco, clean, whatever strikes my fancy.

Right now... I think organization of pictures is in order. :p

She hates it! I have to semi-drag her out until she goes to the bathroom.

LOL!

I personally don't like rain too much either. The only time I want to be in rain is if I have a female companion. ;)

There's actually a city in sweden named 'heresneezedduck', 'härnösand'. That's what I do on saturdays... Not raining today, but the snow isn't far off now I think.

Whenever there's a thunderstorm I turn out all the lights and watch the lightning formations from the top of the hill we live on.

Hmmm...When it rains, I love going out after it's finished. The air always is so clean and fresh and cold. Like plunging into that river right near its source. If only I knew that it had a high waterfall just a little bit downstream... and that it's FAR easier to swim in a swimming pool than against a strong current. :(

TG's in the northwest. I'm in the northeast. Yes, it's raining here, but not too heavily. Otherwise, I don't see how I could be sitting on the roof, wearing a Groucho Marx moustache and fake glasses and nose to hide from my parents, wearing a tarp. ;)

No, actually I've just checked the rule book and it's 4000, my mistake.... sorry.

NK, you're a semi-spammer, sure. You need 8,000 to officially be a spammer, 14,000 to officially be a flooder, 20,000 to officially be N... you know... [/old-timer reference; young'uns see http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/Normack]

I think I'm gonna go sit on the dock on the Charles and lay in the rain for a few hours. Or else maybe walk down to Newbury Street and look at rich people whos plasic surgery melts when it gets wet.
