As hard to say as "Sdaerji"...

Now we've all from time to time needed physiotherapy to recover from attempting to pronounce that perticular nations name. But why not share other words that leave or mouth in fits of convolution or rage.

Mine's "specific" ever since an argument with a friend over it's pronounciation in the sixth grade I always overthink before attempting it and end tongue tied.

All the letters have to be pronounced clearly. It's basically impossible.

Ali G: So what happens if one day Blair goes mental and decides to invade Wales? What would you do?

Tour Guide: We'd laugh them away! Hahaha!

How the hell DO you pronounce Sdaerji?

First comes spelling it, then comes realising that Sdaeriji himself doesn't know and that you're free to pronounce it however you like. I do it the in the standard franco-swedish way.

The "Franco-Swedish" way to pronounce "Sdaeriji" is to treat "ae" as a regular "ä" and to pronounce the "iji" in the same way that it would be pronounced in French, almost like "iži". So, "Sdäriži" where all the "i's" are pronounced like the second "i" in "imagine."
