A few hrs ago the monument received a bomb threat...damn I can't find anything about it online; it was on MSNBC. EDIT: nvm you can find out about it here (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9622234/)
Coupled with NYC's terror threats and a supposed bomb threat at a Rolling Stone concert in VA, what's with this sudden terror spike???

To break the tense atmosphere these threats are creating I shall allude to an appropriate quote for comic relief:
"Somebody set up us the bomb"

I called in a bomb threat to my highschool once because I didn't feel like going to my third period class. There was a major homework project due and I hadn't finished it.

Despite this,the department of homeland security threat level is still at 'elevated'.i've never seen it at anything else.

It turns out it's nothing.

The threat was called in from a payphone two blocks from my house...good thing I got alibis!
