Update: Xander, age 3, died on 10/9/05 at 1:34 am Eastern Time.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey all... One of my friends has a three year old nephew named Xander who has been in the hospital for a while now...

He has a muscle disorder with the muscles around his lung and heart they are to tight and they (the doctors) can't fix it, so it is essentially slowly crushing him.

If you are willing to, please give this kid a prayer. He needs all of it that he can!

Thank you and God bless!

**NOTE: I actually DO know this person, she's my friend, and her nephew actually IS going through this. It reads like a chain letter, as I sent it out to my friends to be passed along. Also, no, if you don't pray, that is your choice, no "tornado" will strike your house, nothing bad will happen to you. It's purely your choice.

No to be insensitive, but this reads like a chain letter.

That means if you don't say a prayer a tornado (or some other such tragedy) will befall you and your property.

I offer my prayers for Xander's recovery. Sounds like a hospital is the best place for him to be now. May the treatment he receives help in his recovery.

When have chain letters ever made any sense?

It's great how some one's trying to get a pray said for a kid, and people have to be rude enough to go turn it into something it shouldn't. You guys are so polite!

People will pray, those prayers will be heard, whether answered yes or no, God's in control.

If you don't believe me, then fine. You don't have to believe anything on the net, because 90% of the stuff posted is fake it seems like. But this is true.

Let me rephrase this... it was a letter sent out to friends to pass along asking for prayers. Do you honestly have a problem with someone trying to help a friends nephew?

By your own statistics you have given us evidence that this has a much higher chance of not being real than it does actually being real.

Alright, ya know what. Believe what you want. Those who are willing to take the chance to spend 20 seconds extra in their prayers tonight for Xander, awesome! Those who don't, that's your choice. I'll leave it up to you. I'm not gonna get into an argument over this. See ya.

I'm not trying to be "holy" or anything like that, but I take prayer seriously. You may not, but I do. I'm sorry if you're offended my what I believe. It's time for you to

Yo mama so stupid that she puts lipstick on her head just to make-up her mind.

Wooo!!!

Seriously sucks, though, that a person can't marry another person because that person likes that other person and is compatable with them, rather, only because one person has a penis and the other a vagina.

Gonna be a sad state of affairs when George Bush jr. turns out to be a XXYX Male. :D

Sucks, don't it?

Try bein' a left-wing, bisexual Muslim trying to affect change in his own Mosque ... using Mohammad's own teachings on the subject.

Trouble with the US .... the US is a desparate throw-back, clinging to the Old Testament ideaology that gay folks should be stoned (not in the good way) even though the modern Jewish people (authors of the old testament) have embraced homosexuality as natural and part of God's plan and that Jesus never once admonished homosexuality.

On the gay issue, you should look at the USA as sort of a 13 year old kid who doesn't understand that Daddy doesn't vanish when he closes his eyes. Pat them on the head and say, "There, There."

:p Did you per-chance read the great Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in 5 [ was it 15 ] minutes?* I must say it was much more bearable then the film.

* No, not the book. A livejournal/journalfen person summarized PoA and named it that, it was hilarious with Dumbledore randomly saying " I think i saw that in a porno once "

I'd like to give everyone an update: Xander, age 3, died on 10/9/05 at 1:34 am Eastern Time.

To those of you who were willing to take 15 or 20 seconds out of their evening to say a prayer to Xander, thank you so very much. At least now he's in a better place, not suffering like he was.
