Your Choice May Make a Difference Which Song I Play on College Radio!

Yeah. You won't be able to get the broadcast, either, unless I record it, which unless someone can get me some streaming-recording software free from the internet i wont do. Although someone on my floor might record it this time--and not on a lecture tape...

But yeah. I don't know which of these three songs to conclude my 2 hour radio broadcast... (don't say none of the above, I hate them all, and the etc. I don't want to know if you like them, I want to know which of the three you would prefer to hear... but chances are most people here as here in college won't know any besides the cover...)

Poll forthcoming...

To clarify: I DON'T WANT YOUR SONG SUGGESTIONS! PLEASE REFRAIN FROM NAMING A SONG THAT IS NOT IN THE POLL! THIS IS NOT A "REQUEST-A-SONG-THREAD"

Cool, another college radio type. I'm doing a Jazz one.

And I vote for 'Somebody Put Something In My Drink'. I don't know any of them, but I like a version of that song by The Ramones.

Mine's metal, with random talk bits.

Opeth. I voted for that Children of whatever song, because I think I've heard that band before and didn't absolutely hate them immediately. I've never heard of the other two, though.

Thank you. Thank you so very much for ignoring the whole point of this thread and naming one of your favorite songs. Because, you know, the title of this song is actually hidden from everyone but you--you who can percieve that it's actually "Favorite song thread".

Not actually a favorite song, but your choices are major suckage except for Goblin Dance, which is ok.

Ok, now this reply is much better. And I see you've voted for Ensiferum. Good. That's all I asked for. Thank you.

That's a value judgement, not a factual judgement. I've never heard of Goblin Dance, and I don't know the versions of the other two songs other than the ones by the Ramones and the Animals (though I did once have a recording of the original "House of the Rising Sun" by...erm... someone-or-other... I gave it its' due listen-age, it just kinda... sucked in comparison to what Eric Burdon & Co. did with it), but really - calling the OPs' choices 'major suckage'... well... bites.

Maybe if you could back up your assertions somehow?

It'd be cool if the OP could post links to audio samples or something, but that's probably kinda tricky. I guess I'll choose just not to vote, but on another level, I'd say HOTRS, if only 'cause it improved so incredibly much in it's last major iteration.

Sentenced, as they're the best band of the three.

Yep I cannot. Because although I may be able to find two of those songs, there is no way I'll be able to find a free legal sample of that Sentenced cover...

Children of Bodom "Somebody Put Something in My Drink"
Sentenced's cover of "The House of the Rising Sun"
Ensiferum's "Goblin Dance"

Can't say as I am familliar with any of the artists - and "House" has been done to death (even if it is good), so I went for Ensiferum/Goblin because they sound interesting and anything with Goblins gets my vote. :D
