Until I am measured, I am not known
Yet how you miss me when I have flown.

If you break me, I do not stop working
If you touch me, I may be snared
If you lose me, nothing will matter.

I never was, yet always will be
I am never seen, yet always come
I can carry nothing, yet hold much for some.

Who makes it has no need for it,
Who buys it has has no use of it,
Who uses it has no knowledge of it.

The Sun. When you look at the Sun, you can't see anything else because it blinds you. The Sun looks you straight in the eye because it is in the sky and shines on everything, and since it is sphereical any way it looks is straight. The Sun never lies because it can't talk anyway.

And who says "mirror?" Have you ever read the fairy tale "The Snow Queen?" The Goblin's Mirror lied. And I think the mirror in Snow White lied too, didn't it?

What has roots that nobody sees?
Is taller than trees? Up, up it goes, and yet never grows.

This thing all things devours, birds, beasts, trees, flowers,
Gnaws iron, bites steel, and grinds hard bones to meal,
Slays king, ruins town, and beats high mountain down.

Thirty white horses on a red hill,
First they champ, then they stamp,
Then they stand still.

It cannot be seen, cannot be felt,
Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt,
It lies behind stars and under hills.
And empty holes it fills.
It comes first and follows after,
Ends life and kills laughter.

Alive without breath,
As cold as death,
Ever thirsty, nver drinking,
All in mail, never clinking.

i spose dozens could work cos thats 6 letters take of the s leave you with a dozen = 12

Thirteen should definatly be the answer... dozen only works if u consider a bakers dozen... but a dozen also means just 12. Thirteen is the flawless answer

A man is driving to denver. On his way he encounters a bus with 13 people, each with a child, one in every two children with a sister. He also sees 12 cars; a quarter of these have one driver with a wife. Two quarters have one driver with a family that has two children, and another quarter of the 12 has just one driver. All together, how many people are going to Denver?

Thirteen should definatly be the answer... dozen only works if u consider a bakers dozen... but a dozen also means just 12. Thirteen is the flawless answer

the answer is "dozens" because:

a)it has 6 letters
b)you remove a letter (in this case, the "s") and the result is "dozen" ... which equals 12.

What can you never see, but is always in front of you?

What is everyone in the world doing all the time?

What should you always keep, as no one else wants it?

What coin doubles in value when half is removed?

Once a minute, twice a week, once a year, twice a decade. What is it?

What does one often return, but never borrow?
