My mom works in a psych ward.. attempted suicides and stuff.. she reports that the general concensus is that drowning is *peaceful*.. this is of course from survivors, and can not be compared to incineration which implies instant death (as do a few of the other options)...

Shot. Clean, efficient, cheap, and practical.
No screaming, easy to clean up, and solves every problem (what would it help to kill them slowly? Revenge doesn't help in any way :dunno:).
Or a knife in the heart... Doesn't spill too much blood and can even be re-used!

What IS it with people getting shot? It's rather painful to have a chunk of lead shoved into your body. You certainly don't die imediately like it the movies. It could take a WHILE...
