What is your view on this dress: baseball cap, clearly visible "Dickies" emblem, bill sticking STRAIT up in the air, color: grey, shape: square; shirt: says "Independent" on the front, with surfer cross on the back; Pants: LONG shorts, "Dickies" emblem, below buttox; Shoes: Three time the size of foot. STATE YOUR OPINION!

It's a brand of work clothes. Janitors and mechanics and stuff used to wear them. Now I guess skaters do.

Frankly, that constitutes as "dickies spam" I believe. Drunk Commies was just answering the persons questions, so you go and accuse him of spamming. Hipocrite
ANywway, I frankly don't care about this so called dickies trend. It's a fad, it will pass, just like FUBU was a fad and Jnco jeans were. So in the mean time people will waste cash on what they think is good instead of practical stuff.
When I was young, "dicky" was a euphamism. :P

My thing with Dickies is a total duality -- the "new school" punk kids all think it's "the shit" to wear Dickies with their Vans slip-ons and their multiple wallet chains -- back in my day as the similar non-fashionable "fashion movement" (okay, we did look kinda hot), we used to wear Dickies because it was freakin' comfortable and not too expensive, and we didn't really freakin' care what everybody else thought of us.
But then I was the Dickies Girl in high school. Y'know....the one who, despite the fact that she doesn't try to, is somehow friends with like EVERYBODY in the school, though most of 'em know me more by my clothes and hobbies than my name.
