If you think who you voted for in the last election would have had any impact on the direction the US is going in you are mistaken. Bush and Kerry would be doing the same things to the same people. Nothing against either of them - just that the real decisions were made in the 2000 election.

I voted for Mr. Michael Badnarik, as the Republicans and Democrats are both equally appalling. Both support a massive, highly-centralized, socialistic federal leviathan at home and intervention and aggression abroad. Neither support federalism, de-centralized and limited government, free-market capitalism, non-intervention in peoples' private lives, or a neutral foreign policy.

I voted for President Bush.... I didn't want to face the repressive tax scheme of a liberal democrat. Also, I didn't want US forces to leave Iraq before the job was finished, and Kerry might have pulled us out before we'd finished it.
I hate bush...I wonder if anyone can tell who i voted for :)

Bush is just a war mongering spoiled man. He has never had a real job his whole life. He has failed at pretty much everything he has ever done, including owning a baseball team. Bush only does stuff that will allow his rich buddies to get even richer. He doesn't care about the middle or lower class.

Screw Bush and Screw Kerry!!!
Both of whom are pecies of crap and are really are one and the same as far as foregin policy is concerned. However if I had to choose between the two I would probably have voted for Kerry anything is better than Bush! I hate Bush from the bottom of my heart and with a strong passion, I have been speaking out against his foregin policy for the last four years now. He is working on the construction of the American Empire project. I mean when you think about it America is really that only empire in the world, as it was the last survivor of the cold war. This so called "Axis of Evil" is on Bush's number one agenda, he has Iraq, Iraq where your asses are being handed to you. Now he wants to go to Iran and is doing so by increasing international pressure on Iran, then North Korea where the WMDs really are. But all the Americann spyplanes which are non-manned keep on getting shot down over North Korean territory.
Anyway that is where I and my people stand on Bush.

If you have interest to hear a foreign point of view, i write from Italy
Here in Italy, My friends and I were fans of Kerry, simply because...
He was not Bush!
Bush is the simbol of arrogance.
He make TWO WARS saying He fight terrorism.
But:
1- Really he want oil, not freedom. Clear, not?
2- If he want freedom (and is not so), he must fight terrorism with dialog between countries, with international Police, and not with rifles.
If USA make foreign policy with Marines and F16, many people in the world had to think that USA is the simbol of Arrogance. It's not nice, but it's so.
But we in Italy have Berlusconi, that is the negation of democracy, and so we have nothing to teach you...
Bye!
I didnt mind Kerry, although arguably one of his better qualities was not being George W. Bush.
To be honest my observation at the time was that Kerry was someone capable of making subtle and fine distinctions and of recognising and illucidating on the complexity of a situation, so he was just about guarenteed to loose...

No they voted because he was to save the world from the EVIL GAYS!
PH33R THEIR GEY MARRIAGES!!!
At least that's why he got elected in my state. Then came the Evil Gays, and NOTHING HAPPENED. Biggest scam I've seen since Blair Witch Project and Nigerian Email.
He used a great political Smokescreen to cover the fact that, Gas prices were going up, outsourcing was going up, everyday another 100 people began to hate the US, and that we were fighting a war that has no end.

Y'know, I voted for Kerry, knowing Bush would win. Why? Bush needs to finish the war he started... I don't like most of his ideals, and I never liked how he made so many promises and tries to run a country based on Christian morals...
Where the heck do Church and State separate?!
Kerry was the only one that ever found the true middle ground. He was honest about his opinions on abortion and stem cell research, saying he was personally against it, but would have allowed it for the cause of scientific and medicinal advancement. No other presidential candidate that I've seen ever said something like that, and that's what struck me about Kerry. He had huge personal beliefs, but he states he would actually put them aside to become a better president. Well, he never STATED that... Just what I believe he would have done.
In the end, I just don't like how Bush is running the whole thing. The economy is crap due to allowing constant outsourcing and tax cuts for business owners and the upper class, while the struggling middle and lower classes have to depend on trickle-down economics, hoping that these business owners don't pinch everything they make.
I don't like either main political party... The Republicans depend too much on morality, and the Democrats try too hard to change things that require more time. If only there were an actual mix between the two, one that would find the middle ground so everyone could be happy.
However, this is reality, and such a thing is impossible.

Let's face it. All politicians on average are little #@$%ERS! SOMETIMES you get an okay one, but mostly, they're as smart as you are, and a lot of them are MUCH dumber. Americans have WAY to much time on their hands. The fact that a politician has an very high pay check, when in fact has NO skills, and the fact that they can vote to increese their own pay check is our problem. They are their own boss, and WE pay them. RIDICULES!!! Imagine if someone got payed the same as they do for cleaning the street? RIDICULES!!! BUT at least they would help rather then hurt.

As a European, I reject the US foreign policy. Bush thought he could turn Iraq into a modern, Western-style, free democracy. Leftist European politics say that the US foreign policy is conservative. But the conservative doctrine is that a society must form itself. In fact, progressive politics believe that a society can be reformed by government policies.
Bush' foreign policy proves that neo-conservatism has nothing to do with conservatism. Neo-conservatism is just a centre-left form of progressivism.
