Coalition Party

Drastic times call for drastic measures,

In order to win this election is it possible for the UDCP and DSP to join together in a coalition? I'm not proposing a deal or anything, in fact I have no authority whatsoever to be making these types of decisions. I'm just laying the idea out on the table. Could they put aside their differences for the greater good? Is it possible? This is the first election I've witnessed, so I'm not even sure if a coalition is allowed.

I think Coalitions are allowed...question is whether the parties could agree on economic management.

The UDCP and the DSP don't have even close to a majority, so forming a coalition wouldn't accomplish much.

Well as I write this the UDCP has 42, and the DSP have 69. That would equal 111 votes, that more than anyone else right now.

But that's only a plurality, still.

What matters is getting a majority in favor of left-wing proposals, and that won't happen even if the RTP can be brought into the coalition.

The only way to do it is with the Silly Parties, which I doubt will happen.
