lol .... ok. If you seriously need help, maybe giving more information about it would help.

Did you type this yourself, or copy it from somewhere? On one of the lines, one of the four number groups contains a '|' (looks sort of like a 1 but it's not). Is this an error or is it significant?

The only thing I notice right away is that none of the four-digit groups are numerically larger than 3000 (except one or two). I really have no idea, but my best guess, some kind of data storage?

That's the site... all I know about this kid is that he's a major geek. I'm not sure if it is a typo or not. I wish I knew more, this is really frustrating for me. I'm absoultely certian this is a coded message, and I'm going to be a growly animal and sulk.

I have it partially broken; i believe that i don't have time to finish it, so maybe someone else can.


Here's the pattern. Each number corresponds to a letter, but the numbers are grouped together to disguise it's basic form. It's the ol' a=01, b=02, c=03... z=26 scheme, only it's grouped like this: ab = 0102, cd =0304, etc. Get it? k. Next tricky part are the double zeros. And here's where I haven't finished unravelling the code.

A double zero "00", when placed with another number other than a double zero, capitalizes the letter. For example, a=09, but A=0900. Get it? Good.

A sentence is divided up by spaces. When a new subset opens, it is a new sentence.

Two sets of double zeros "0000" are where I'm having a problem because it gets tricker. It tells us what order the numbers in that grouping are to be unscrambled in. For example:

0000 0000 1905 1206
1325 2005 0801 0900

= SelfmytehaI = I hate myself.

but similarly,

1325 2005 0801 0900
0000 0000 1206 1905

= mytehaIlfse = I hate myself.

Get it?

So, if you can figure out how to use the 0000s to unscramble the sentences, you have your code broken.


Either that, or I'm completely wrong, but it seems logical enough to me.

That was my boyfriend's brother. I just was making sure that wasn't a suicide note, as he is known for that sort of thing. Thank you all so much for your help! I could have never figured it out on my own.

PS: Turns out he had a rather nasty fight with his girlfriend. This guy is 21, been with her since 2nd grade. I said on Sunday that I thought something wasn't right between them, that they wouldn't last. The next day, I read this. Turns out I'm right. I scare myself, but the smart people that cracked this scare me much more. LOVE TO YOU ALL!!!
