I have played and bought ALOT of games. I have a ps2 and i have a rack full of them. only a few i have bought thought have been worth my money. To me there are 2 kinds of games, ones you play by yourself and ones you play with friends.

Personally my favorite 1 player game would have to be mercenaries. I love the story, how you can free roam, the vehicles, and the weapons. On a scale from one to ten i give mercenaries a 9.5.

Then my favorite friend game. I don't have my playstation hooked on the internet so i play alot of 1 person games but out of all the games i have played i love playing Star ars Battle Front with my friends. Its so boring on 1 player, but we have gotten so obsessed with galactic conquest that we have wars that go on for days and some that never end because we have gotten so good at it. out of 10 i give it a 9.25 because of its lack of factions and one player fun.

What are your favorite 1 player and friend games (not online) also what is your rating out of ten on them?

(oh and if any of you know how to hook a playstation 2 up to the internet to play online, telegram ME! =)

True Crime streets of new york is out already! i didn't know yet! Awsome! but nba street! are you nuts! i hate those, they are all the same thing they just make more than one version costing 50 bucks each and they add one thing in and change the name like nba street, then nba street 2, WITH COLOR YOUR OWN BASKET BALL! does that sound like a video game to you...o and dont forget the ratings out of 10.

Heh. I'm going to randomly pick Earthbound for Super Nintendo for it's sheer whackiness. Rating out of ten you say? I give it... ah... 8. Just because.

And 'friend games' you say? I guess Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II, because hell if I've been able to play any other game since Perfect Dark (and even that was pretty badly), not counting the first Dark Alliance game. 7.5 out of 10, there. The graphics are a bit neh, and replayability is fairly low unless you wait for a long time. It also loses points for being too short and having a HORRIBLE, CLIFF-HANGY ENDING! I demand closure!

Fav 1 player game = Chrono Trigger

Fav multiplayer game = Def Jam: Fight for NY

Chrono Trigger needs no explanation, but some of you may question my choice in Fight for NY. Fight for NY is the BEST fighting game to date. I've played through it about ten times with ten charaters whose fighting styles are completely different from one another, and there's still so many combinations of fighting styles I haven't tried yet. Also, the fighting is brutal, mostly realistic, and crazy fun. Plus you can be Henry Rollins, and Rollins kicks ass.

I give Def Jam: Fight for NY 9 out of 10 (minus one for the shitty sound track).

L-shaped ambush is something you do for real. It's not a game. But it is fun, if you're not the one in the kill zone.

I got this one emulator, which came with a game called "Clocktower."
It seemed like a little babys game, so i played it,
*In game
I was with a group of orphens, we went into a old mansion, where our adoptive parents were, I went to look for the teacher was, I walked into a different room, and heared a scream. So I ran back and found eveyone gone, and blood stains everywhere. I was creeped out, but i still thought it was a little kids game, I went into a bedroom and I looked into the mirror, all of a sudden a pair of hands came out and choaked my charecter, I jumped out of my chair and fell onto the hard tile. I restarted, and left the entrance room, and came back, nothing happened at first, then i saw blood fly down and I saw a little undead man with huge scissors, fall down from the cellings colored glass, with his scissors dug into one of the orphanes chest, myself, who has NEVER seen a horrer movie actualy wet myself, I ran into the court yard, finding one of the girls drounding, then Scissors man came out and killed me. Ive had nightmares for about 5 days so far

10/10:
Nice action, and horrer, and later on GREAT storyline a grand way to spend a day with dark lights and many pairs of boxers

Well, Dungeons and Dragons has to be the most fun i've ever had. You can have a few mates round and just set 'em all up on a random quest of some sort. Only problem is short attention spans.

But videogame wise, i have to say Smash Bros Melee is my firm favourite for multiplayer, and as far as single-player modes go, SSBM again is my most played, but Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time isn't my most played, but is my favourite.
though i'd say these are close contenders

Armored Core 2 + 3
Super Metroid
Mario 64 (and most 2D marios as well, for that matter)
Morrowind for radnom killing sprees. Gotta love bound codpiece :D

I'll have to throw in a 'hell yeah!' for Clocktower. The gameplay was simplistic, but the fearful atmosphere and great storyline snag it an 8 out of 10 from me.

See another game i love to play with my friends is Lego star wars. it kinda sound like im a star wars freak right now but i just like their games. Its fun when you are trying to get coins and killing droids with your friends but when you have done it all not even cheats can make the game better. it was still a fun, short experience. i have also played star wars episode 3 on the playstation, and let me tell you...how am i going to say this...DONT GET IT! i bought it and played it and yes it was fun on one player and had good moves but its extremly short and 2 player is dryer than a beach on a hot day! its a waste of 50 bucks! i ended up bringing it back in a day or two!

AoE was awsome, granted... shame about the latest one (age of mythology or whatever) cos it was shite imho. the new one in development (AoE3) looks breathtaking though *drools*

and i mostly loved Vice City for the atmos and the music, being an 80s metal fan myself it was great just to listen to V-Rock all the time :D
san andreas is great, just... not as much fun (or as silly) as the older gta games imo

Fave multiplayer game: Perfect Dark

I just haven't seen an FPS that gives you this many options since. I mean, there were like 10 bot modes, and 5 diffulty settings for the bots. You could command bots that were on your team. Each weapon had a unique secondary fire, something that most games today still don't have. I even liked the punch drunk effects in the game. I've always liked the faster more arcady games, so I've never been a big fan of Halo, and Timesplitters, which I have, is fun but it only makes me wish for PD even more. It had great graphics for it's time, but mostly,I just really really liked the gameplay options. It never got old, because you could change the weapons out, change the bots, the game mode, and the map. Besides, it had that Darksim. Anyone here, ever try to kill one of these? I think it'd be easier to get the pope to swear allegiance to Satan.....heh....Anywho, that why I like this game. I'd definetly give it 9 of 10.

For the record, CS: Source sucks. ;)
