Dear NS,

My internet looks like this;

What can I do to fix it?

What is this "C:\" that you speak of? Is that some new kind of emoticon?

Install firefox (www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/). Oh, and stop looking at so much porn, lol.

well, the picture is incredibly small. If you could do the "print screen" and post an unaltered picture, I may be able to see what's going on a little better.

It looks as if though all the toolbars and buttons are displayed and needs major rearranging. Some virus could have installed all those toolbars without you approving it, but that's just a guess.

Uninstall all the bars, though I suggest installing google bar if you still want to use internet explorer. You could also install firefox OR opera, which is now free.

There are some uninstallation instructions here (they are for an unrelated software, but the instructions do work):

Opera: http://www.opera.com/

Format C:\ formats your hard drive. A bad idea.
Step 1: Go into Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs
Step 2: If you don't know what it is, remove it. You can always reinstall things later
Step 3: Download Lavasoft Adaware. Install it.
Step 4: Update and run Adaware
Step 5: Stop clicking on every link and banner you see.

1: At the very top of Internet Explorer, just to the right of the Help menu, right click and you'll see all the toolbars displayed. If there's a check next to an unwanted toolbar then click on it to uncheck.

2: In windows click on "START->Run..." and type "regedit" then you'll open up a tree of the system registry. Navigate the tree to HKEY_CURRENT_USER->Software->Microsoft->Internet Explorer->Extensions. That's one of the folders where worms like to install themselves. Also check out the Internet Explorer->Toolbar folder.

Here's a quick guide to getting rid of toolbars: http://webct.ipfw.edu/troubleshooting/searchbars.shtml

Also you can check out the following, as you seem to be infected with all of these:
