Interesting, I had something like this happen to me, except the school thought I was a Nazi, not a terrorist. I proceeded to tell them that I had Jewish cousins, but that didn't influence them at all. "I think your cousins wouldn't have appreciated this" When I informed my cousins of this, they thought it was funny

Unfortunately the violent parody business is not smiled upon in schools. Hell, humorous parody (lacking any sort of violence, although it was condescending towards a teacher) nearly got me into some deeeeeep shit during high school. That's why I've given up on the parody business.

The USA is a humor-free zone when it comes to subtle parody, sarcasm and ironic wit.
We ourselves have difficulty discerning it in posts that are, in retrospect, meant as parody or sarcasm or ironic hyperbolic wit.
And that is why nobody laughs at the Bible anymore. Lots of funny stuff in there, once you realize that God is really sarcastic and ironic and given to much hyperbole. ;)
