at least i think it was the new series that started tonight... anyone watch it? as ever, general hilarity all round (especially thanks to Bill Bailey!). next weeks episode is also a cracker, for those who didn't watch it on bbc4 ;)

What amazed me the first time I watched it was that Alan Davis (?) comes across as very simple, which first surprised me since I only had previously seen him as Jonathan Creek :confused:

if it were anyone other than stephen fry i'd agree with you, but its he who really makes the show as enjoyable as it is. ok the other comedians on there and alan davies sure do help, but its fry's show, really.

Been back at uni for a while now, though term started on Monday. The politics department messed (and almost everyone doing combined honours) about. Clashing all my modules and generally being unhelpful when I tried to fix the fuck up they created. The Liverpool Sorting office hasn't been any help either
By bitching and whining at lots of people, including Kellarly via MSN, I have got most of the stress off my chest. Still bloody annoying though.
How's life on your end?

lol yeah, sounds like that sucks... fuckin uni's couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery i swear :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
sounds worse than any crap my uni's thrown at me, except i applied for a leave of absence on medical grounds months ago and still haven't heard a jot, and i can't seem to get through to anyone involved :mad:
so i'm just taking it as red that they accepted :D
other than that i'm working doing graphic design and building wiki's (a la wikipedia) so its all fun fun fun fun fun :P (actually it is quite interesting)
tho all my mates are back at uni now, leaving me kinda lonely :(

What annoys me more is that I went to the history department to resolve a clash and all the secretary did was type something and everything was fine. The sodding politics ofice sent me all around the university and then basically said "meh" :mad: .

Sounds good. Maybe I should have done that (though you sound like you are dealing with it more constructive than I would have).
The annoying thing is. You'd expect more from a university seeing as they seem to think of themselves as the intellectual apex of the country. Bah, we should work on cloning so we can clone Val Fry (the History secratary), see'd sort out the whole country in an instant :(
tho all my mates are back at uni now, leaving me kinda lonely :(
