looks like "gypsy’s" have brought some land near my local river and the same thing is happening that always happens in the British countryside:

1) allot people shout out racist points like "there all a bunch of criminals"

2) police can't do anything

3) allot of people get scared

so what do you think should happen? and what are your views on gypsy’s?

my view is as long as raise in crime is controlled (though I think it doesn’t really increase anymore than moving in working class folk) and they don't start polluting and generally wreaking the place (I got allot of memories of that river :( ) its not an issue

oh yes and because some mad lady was illegally sticking anti-gypsy posters everywhere (and I mean everywhere) I crossed out gypsy and put Jew just for comparison

I think they should be given bloody cheap housing so that wehen i go out for a walk in the country i dont get a bloody great big campsite to walk through

proper gypsies? with the strange palm readers and stuff? i'm quite indifferent to them really though i do agree that people judge them to harshly..

"Working class folk" cause crime as well as gypsys eh?

Middle class folk, on the other hand, never cause crimes...

IMHO Gypysies should be allowed to do whatever the fudge they like. Only thing is, like New Age Travellers, if they are going to opt out of our society to form a new egalitarian society of the road, then they can opt out of our benefits system, education system and healthcare system as well. Otherwise they are just being hypocritical.

While I have seen gypsies when I travelled to Europe, I always found it odd that here are none in the US. Hmm...

no wait silly me..you have all those people living in "tailler parks"

There's a whole bunch of tinks camped just outside my village. It's mostly the elderly that call them theives , us young ones aren't really that bothered by them. However I will say this about the tinks around here: they make one hell of a mess of the place. They used to camp at this other field, but because of the mess they left - which attracted seagulls; which were a danger to the nearby airport and so had to be culled - that particular field had a 'moat' dug round it to prevent their vehicles getting in.
They really should be forced to clean up after themselves.
