Yes. I bought RtCW shortly after it came out, and started playing ET as soon as it was released, as it was a major improvement over the original RtCW multiplayer experience. I've been playing it off and on ever since.

It's a great game, but I can't for the life of me figure out how promotions are structured. They're clearly not contingent on XP, because I've seen people with less XP than me be at a higher rank. Incidentally, I don't think I've ever gotten past Colonel, despite gathering 3,000 experience once. How people get to General after 1500 or 1600 XP is beyond me. Perhaps it has something to do with which skills you use.

If you're thinking about getting it; do it. It's free, for one thing. Akimbo pistols are sick in that game.

once you have gathered all your battle sence and the other 2 column's you must change, eg. if your and engineer you and you have completed all the columns with stars then from engi you go to field ops, from there you go to covert ops and so on, i myself have been playing it for a long time and have found its very very good. You can find me on the Bunker2 server although i go with a different name to what im on this forum, but otherwise the server and server rules are clean and very just. Hope to see you on some time.

P.S. Thanks for the input :gundge:

That's what I figured [about the skill distribution and rank-gaining], but unfortunately I don't play much. When I do, I'm generally adept enough that I don't really have any "questions" or need for "assistance." I have been playing the game for about 4 years now, after all ;)

But thanks anyway.

Interesting side note: I once owned a clan before ET came out, and we actually signed up for and participated in [however briefly] a Jolt tournament. We got our asses beat, but a couple years later I came back to Jolt as a moderator on what is now their largest forum. Wierd, huh?

RtCW: ET is an awesome game(that is also free :D).

Did you know they're making a Quake Wars: ET? It's not gonna be free, but if a free ET owns, then one that they actually put money into is going to be awesome-er.

My gaming handle [for any game] is GanjMahal, but I haven't played ET in weeks. I need a new mouse, I think. I have a game controller, but I'm terrible at trying to aim with analog sticks for some reason. Give me a mouse and a d-pad though, and I'll light your ass up.
