ok your opinion on zoos. do think it is right for animal to be locked up or not? is it only if their species is dying out? do they educate people on animals?

some rehabilitated animals are unable to live in the wild. so zoo's give them a place to live. zoo's also educated people...

one of my friends is now a life time member of our zoo. she gets free entry into most of the zoos in Australia and can take 2 kids or an adult in for free with her aswell, cost her parents quite a bit, that did

i used to hate zoos. animals stuck in displays for the term of their natural lives. yuck
now zoos are better than they used to be. the animals get more room to live a better life in
but mostly i think zoos serve an essential role it getting people to give a shit about animals around the world.

A koala killed my brother and raped my sister, do you want these sort of animals out on the street?
I think not.
The odd thing is, I dont have a brother or a sister, and I live in Arizona. Not what you would call a Koala-friendly environment, considering our lack of eucalyptus (sp?).
Yeah...anyway...

I don't like zoos. Wildlife sanctuaries are ok however.
