Magic the Gathering, political cards

Galloism

I've decided to make some more MTG political cards. I made one, in response to the countless threads on this forum. This card is:

http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b383/DrkHelmet/GunBan.jpg

I'm taking suggestions for other political cards. Polititians, bills, stupid ass things people said on TV, everything. Try to include stats and abilities with your suggestions, as it would make it much easier for me. (Don't wank it out with 99/99 cards or anything, though)

Note:

This is NOT a thread in which to debate political ideologies. Just put forth suggestions and such for cards. I am willing to make them for republicans, democrats, fundies, progressives, everyone, if it's funny enough.

you could easly do one on vegetarianism
something like: whenever a creature would be put into a graveyard from play shufle it into it's owners library

or on the KKK (ironicaly it should be a black card if it was real) something like: remove all black creatures from the game

or on kapitalism:
at the beginning of your upkeep any player may pay bid any amount of life the player who bid the highest amount of life loses that much life
at the end of your turn double that players life total

so many possibilities

(btw, your wordings are really wrong on those cards)

Nuclear option is the senate rules change. That card should be called filibuster (prevent all judicial cards from entering play), and the one that counteracts it should be called the Nuclear Option (destroy filibuster, add a 0/-2 counter to all politician cards on the side of the player casting the card)

I will DEFINATELY be checking in on this thread! My favorite part of MTG is looking at the cards! How about a "protest" card? And if you do one, it would only be fair to do a "party in power" card.

How about:

OPEC/Enron (depending on political leanings): Instant for not much mana; Tap any Oil-type lands in play

Cabinet Reshuffle: Probably a blue and/or green card; Choose a colour and any player. Search through that player's deck for any number of creature cards of that colour and place them in any order on the top of their deck. This card may only be played when you control the greatest number of creatures on the field.

<< First suggestion >> War on Terror: Red enchantment. Comes into play with one counter on it. Ability -
Tap, add a counter to War on Terror: Destroy all Terrorist type creatures on the field. For each creature destroyed in this way, its owner may place an X/X Terrorist creature token on the field, where X is the number of counters currently on War on Terror.

Well, I don't play M:tG, but maybe someone who does can make something out of this:

9/11
Cancels any UN or Peace treaty card of your choice, allows you one free attack every other turn, but must not kill opponent's last fight-capable card (Enemy leader cards are unaffected by 9/11). Lasts for 10 turns (after that, everyone's forgotten about it).

Patriot Act
Can only be played after 9/11 has been played and forces your opponents to lay their cards open on the table.

Jihad
Can only be played when you have mujahedin on the table, immunizes you against the effects of enemy Patriot Act (i.e. you can pick your cards up again), immunizes your characters against western influence cards and doulbes the single value of all your mujahedin. If you have no more mujahedin, the card is immediately discarded.

Mujahedin (character)
Every Mujahedin has the power of 1 times the number of mujahedin cards you have on the table (i.e. if you have 5 mujahedin on your table, every single one has a power of 5). Can only be played after enemy played 9/11 or Israel.

After viewing all the cards, the selected opponent may then be forced to immediately discard one to three cards in their hand, drawing one to three from the facedown pile. The player using Karl Rove selects the cards to be discarded from the selected player's hand.

Ha. How about a spell "Honesty"

Target politician gets +1/+1 and all other creatures faint with shock (are tapped) and do not untap in their controller's next untap step.

Bill Clinton
BBB
Legendary Ex-President and Adulterer
2/5

All Red politicans in play suffer a -1/-3 penalty and All Blue politicans gain haste while Bill Clinton is in play.

If your oppenant has Newt Gingrinch in play at the same time as Bill Clinton is in play, you cannot play any Blue Enchant Creature or Socercy cards and all Blue politicans gain a +2/+1 bonus.

If your oppenant plays Sex Scandal, destroy Bill Clinton and summon one Blue politican in your hand to the field.

"Well, that depends on what your definition of 'is' is."
