Help a Pro-Life Centrist find a party!

Hey there. First, let's not make this thread about whether the option for abortion should be in place or not; there are already plenty for that.

Does anyone know of a U.S. political party that supports the humanity of the unborn, but is also not the Republicans? I had high hopes for the Green Party, but it seems that I was mistaken.

There have got to be at least some obscure third parties, or... or something. Preferably one that is also against the death penalty. Thanks in advance.

Thanks.

But don't get too cocky. If I can't find an alternative, I'll just have to keep voting for those nashty Republicans...

Why would you want to join a party except for expediency?

Fair question. The answer: I'm looking for a party to vote for, not necessarily 'join'. If I vote for it enough, though, then I guess it's something like joining.

Why don't you base your vote on other things?

You say you oppose the death penalty and abortion. Since the republicans support the death penalty and the democrats support the right to choose, perhaps you should consider other things in the ideas of both parties.

It seems that in the states, voting for a third party really is a waste... which is sad.

I think it's best to support individual candidates that support your views rather than a party.

I DO vote for Republicans, in general. It's a compromise.

So there is no such party. :(

At least not one of the major parties, no.
