Three Free Mice
Three mice infected with the bacterium that causes the bubonic plague in Newark, New Jersey, are missing from the Public Health Research Institute that is located on the campus of University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey according to Yahoo.com. Although occurring over two weeks ago, authorities launched a search for the tainted rodents claiming they may have been stolen, eaten by other animals in the lab, or even misplaced. However, authorities say if they escaped, they would have already died from the disease.

Rather than making Guam the 50th state I say we just combine the Dakotas while New York is being smitten by the plague.

That would make it alot easier!
So, to recap:
Absorb New Jersey into New York
Fuze North and South Dakota
Make Guam our 49th State
Make some other place our 50th state.

how about we take over all those pretty little islands like grand cayman & the british virgin islads, and make them a state. they sure would be a better state than the one i'm living in now. (which happens to be missouri.)
or even if we took over the BVI and made "the virgin islands" a state.

geez you guys are such wimps. its just a little plague. we get 3 or 4 cases every year in new mexico and you dont see US panicking over it.

unfortunately for you, they weren't named after women in general who share that trait, they were named after queen elisabeth, who was supposedly a virgin. which brings to question why the "untied states virgin islands" are named after a english queen. then again, virginia, new york and plenty of other U.S. fixtures are named after english stuff.
