No, they're not better in bed than non-nerds. Why? Overall less practice.

I don't really have enough experience to base a response on.

I've dated like 3 people seriously in my whole life. One guy was kinda nerdy (in that he could kick ass in a star trek trivia challenge/most trivia challenges/is beyond smart) and was great at the realtionship. One guy was into sports and a complete dumbass and terrible at the relationship. One guy is a nerd and sucks at the relationship for the most part.

ive slept with one non-nerd and one nerd, the nerd was better, altho there is a fair age gap between (8yrs) the two which probably counted for something, also, i think that nerds have a habit of being more creative, and god damn it they're good with their hands :D ... i dont know why that is but generally theyre more responsive and get more responses out of me,

for the record alot of nerds are good looking, you just have to find them

No, nerds are not better in bed. And I say this as a graduate student in Neuroscience...I am a nerd, and I know my people.

In my experience, nerds are generally on par with "average" people in bed. See, nerds are generally less likely to get sex, so they have less experience, so they don't have quite as much practice. On the other hand, nerds are less likely to get sex, so they are much happier when they DO get sex, so they are more likely to want to go out of their way to please their partner. They also tend to be fast learners.

not all nerds rule in bed, just trekkies ;)trekkies? you mean people into "Star Trek?"

the show that has them...
1) Going to 'Warp Speed' every chance they get?
2) Reluctant to use their 'Weapons'
3) When they use their 'Weapons' takes several tries to 'hit the target'
4) Would rather Talk than take Action.
5) Would impose their lifestyle (Federation Laws) over the indiviual (planets) desires.
6) would attempt to rewrite their history to cover up any Factual Mistakes
7) can't make a move without consulting more knowledgable people (Starfleet)
8) Always 'Feeling something' but never knows what it is.

then again, for Star Wars...
1) we all know the real hero isn't Luke, Ben Kenobi or Anakin... but R2D2, a short, stubby, neutered robot.
2) they like to buck and weave in their seats... (think about it... on second thought DON'T)
3) they like to handle their 'LightSabers' alot.
4) Lots of Hand waving without actually touching anything...
5) they Jump to Light Speed every chance they get
6) "Judge me by size, do you?"
7) They dive in at fulll speed.
8) They will change thier current story when their past is revealed.

so wouldn't the facts that they tend to be fast learners, care more about their partner's enjoyment and "By Inference" are willing to experiment make them, overall, better?

or are we just counting the first time only?

No, because they don't have as wide a sampling. For instance, a given nerd may have been a very nice and generous lover to the one other person he/she has been with, but we all know that each person will be different in the sack. What really works for one person may not work at all for another.

or are we just counting the first time only?

Well, I guess I would say that nerds probably have a first-time rating lower than average, but a rate of improvement that is higher than average. So it depends on how long you intend to be sleeping with your nerd.

I know this is going to sound lame, but you honestly can find some pretty good books on the subject. It's never quite as good as "first hand" experience, just like how reading never can quite substitute for a quality lab course, but the reading doesn't hurt. Just make sure you look for books written by the sex you wish to attract. Don't waste your time reading books on "How To Please Women" that were written by men, or "How To Please Men" books that were written by women. That was my mistake. It turns out that women are not pleased by all the things that men THINK please women...

I don't know if Nerds are better in bed than non-Nerds. However, if you are looking to conduct a scientific experiment this male oversexed senior citizen is willing to rate any young, vivacious, female nerds who want to go to bed with him. Although I do have some limited experience with non-nerd female types, I could be convinced to rate some of them too. Oh, any females participating in the above scientific experiment must be willing to deal with my wife. :D :D

All theory...

*wonders if nerd equates to above average intelligence*
*doubts*

nerds tend to be intellectual.. doesn't make *us* intelligent, empathic, anything other than isolationist.

imo nerds are likely to be "better" at relationships they do form, assuming they have some level of >15yr ability to control their emotions... which, when you spend twenty minutes looking at your average forum, you can see alot of *them* don't.
What's the saying... something like "constant exposure to danger breeds contempt for it" ..overexposure to anything inures one to it...swimmng into the same person's eyes gets samey after a couple of years.

imo nerds are obsessive and isolationist enough, on average; to beable to sustain the love (empathic) for longer, keener with wit to seduce, given confidence to try.. there's no *average* to physical attractiveness, ppl decide they look like a freak and become a nerd, or they don't and become a normal person, simple. It's a decision - no real connection to the way they look :p ...and more stubborn on average.. (yes i know i'm god..) so will maintain the pretense of love for longer.

As far as sex is concerned, there isn't a guarantee of satisfaction with anyone. Mindset, effort and experience, the 3 primaries of sex ;-) nerds try harder, manipulate harder and still feel guilty afterwards :D

Oh yeh, and don't try that neuroscience malarky on meh, noobs don't use neuros.

And for what it's worth; i lub j00 bolol.

I'm totally for Star Wars, but you can't honestly stereotype communists as lazy. Communists nowadays may be lazy, but the intent of communism was to promote the community so that everyone would work for free, to be provided for for free. It's not laziness, it's social responsibility

Actually I want financial independence. The only way to get that is to found my own companIES, work hard to make them work, and use the monies for my independence of corporations, and help promote REAL political reform.

I could not do that or HAVE that chance with communism. I'd be subjected to equality without any achievements for my hard work. I'd be a ****ing sheep.

With the keynesian from we have, we CAN change the government. If more reformers got of their ass, organized, and learned how to work as a organization for benevolent political reform.

What does your goddamned communism offer me but **** and loads of it? I'll answer that for you. NOTHING.

With communism, we can explore ourselves without being bound by some corporate dictatorship, whether influenced from within or without. My opinion, so as not to upset some as to think it's my ultimate decision for the course of humaity (being a corporate and capitalist notion), is that humanity be explored through the individual, and shred communally, so as to combine enperience to better ourselves as a culture/race

So, you propose in short:

1. We should be regulated to nothing more than people who have no ambition to do greater things in life. My ambition to promote the re-enlightenment of American citizens should be put aside and just do what government tells me, because governments and politicans ALWAYS KNOW WHAT IS GOOD FOR US.

2. Be bound by the system. Even if you wish for something better for your community, culture, and way of life. IF THE COMMIES DON'T AGREE, YOU MUST FLEE.

Not at all! I feel that government is a hinderance to the community. People can have ambition, even if there's no system to back it. The community should be in power, not the majority; the individual should be allowed to share experience with everyone so that actions can be (continually) refined so as to incorporate being into a way of life, instead of doing, which is basically what capitalism is

I see so you promote:

1. The lack of an organized system to not prevent potentially never ending warring states and towns as before the Roman republic due to the WRONG kind of ambition and sides of human nature. The ability for a community to bone another and many other communities because of that communities' power.

And that's the problem! Too many seek power over others. Communism doesn't work unless everyone agrees to submit to a communal form, which won't happen anytime soon because there are too many people who want to hold themselves above others. The doctrine of communism 'dictates' (for lack of a better term) that power be shed from every idwea so that humanity can be uniformily equal, so that no matter the race or orientation or whatever of the individual, they are not excluded from any sort of 'power'.

It's peoples beliefs, I believe, that seperate us the most. But no one has any power to take that away from anyone! Christian, Muslim, Jew, Hindi, aethiest: we are all entitled to our beliefs, which communism would hope to supplant. As such, I have avoided communism as a system, but focused on the community as a whole to better my understanding of sociality, which has always seemed odd to me as I've been an outsider for the majority of my life.
