IKEA sells beds, cushions, chairs, tables, every utensil you could think of for a kitchen, all the furniture for your house, but why the hell dont they sell kitchens?

Because they are a home furnishings store and not a hardware store like Home Depot?

In Australia Ikea does sell kitchens. You have to put them together yourself with nothing but an allen key and two pages of abstract sketches and random notes written by illiterate, blind, gnome-like swedish slaves.

Built my kitchen from IKEA. It saved me about 50% on the price, was easy to put together and has worn well. It is also still supported so if a bit falls of or breaks (which it hasn't yet after 3 years) I can get a replacement.
They also have a reasonable 3D design tool on thir website.
Only advice i have for budding builders - get someone who's an expert to fit your worktops.

They do, in bits as is their style, or at least they do here in the home country: http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?catalogId=10101&storeId=2&categoryId=10652&langId=-11&parentCats=10110*10652&chapterId=10653&cattype=sub

And as is their model, I'm sure they sell almost the exact same range across all the countries they are trading in...

In addition, you can pay to have them assemble it for you, IIRC.

I went to Ikea last month and for the first time I saw kitchens in the shop! It's a revolution!
I don't know if it's new in the whole world or if we were just late here...

Don't know where you live, but the IKEA in Virginia certainly does sell kitchens. We bought our kitchen cabinets there.

Maybe what you have is an imposter. A false IKEA, set up by Norwegians posing as Swedes, to impugn the reputation of Sweden. Yes, that must be it! And they're probably being backed by those sneaky Icelanders!
