FDA Chief Lester Crawford resigned after 3 years of duty. He is joining Mikey Brown as the only intelligent people in the Bush Administration. Perhaps we can get some more people to resign like Mrs. Rice, Mr. Bush, and Mr. Cheney. :)

I assume you're talking about the ones that are based on geography instead of population? The type of polling map Republicans like to wave around as if they believe votes are based on the average number of square feet per citizen in an area?

Urban areas are usually "liberal havens." Guess what? America's population continues to shift towards city-life. So while the "red area" may continue to expand, the number of "blue people" continues to expand as well.
Eat it, red America!!!

Nope, a 3D (xyz) model. Using population density, layered over geography, showing the Republican:Democrat ratio. (With mixed results in shades of purple)
It was pretty. I'll post a link.

Have you seen Bush's approval ratings?
Yeah. But for some reason the Republican:Democrat ratio is yet to go down.
Hey, I'll with you. I'd love to see a Democrat back in Office, I just don't thik we should celibrate just yet.

It's bad enough that we'ren't allowed to jump anymore. Hopless? Jump? It's a classic.

This sounds like a "Bush bashers unite" thread. Oh well, maybe they agree that Jimmy Carter was the best President ever, or at least better than Bush.

Actually, no it's not. You know that there are different numbers of votes for certain regions, I hope?
Also, do you realize how horribly obsolete the Electoral College is (not to mention biased to favor small states)? It was created because the technology to count votes at the national level didn't exist. Now it does. We are ready for a true direct democracy.

Best ever? Not close. Better than Bush? In a heartbeat. Then again, a shriveled up tree slug would have done a better job than Bush.

Hum! I do think that "shriveled up tree slug" did not do very much about some American hostages in Iran?

Better to work diplomatically than get us into a ruinous and unnecessary war over nothing. Bushis the worst president of the last hundred years at least, if not in the history of this nation, and historians will not be kind to him, no matter what apologists like you think to the contrary.

Nazz, you are wrong. Apologist historians come many years after the real Historians. They correct the writings of the revisionist Historians. Bush won't go down in History as one of the best, but he won't be one of the worst either.
One thing I don't understand about Bush is people seem to be for him or against him, but very few who are middle of the road. Reminds me of how people felt about Nixon and FDR.

Uh huh--where was it you got your degree in history, Celtlund?
As to the partisanship, the for him or against him, thank the Republican bombthrowers back to Gingrich and Limbaugh and their modern day apostle, Karl Rove. They're the ones who have made this a "you're with us or against us" political mentality where there's no longer room for compromise.

If Wayne County succeeded from the state and joined Canada or was hit by a snowstorm on November 1st last year, Michigan would have gone for Bush in 2004... One county ruled the rest of the state.
