Im not a proper artist but at the rate im painting (with water colours an no idea how to use em properly) But i got a lot of spare time on my hands so i could get mutch better fairly quikly and sell my art.
But what is the point of art, why do it? it could be a waste of time as some people consider it to be arty farty eurotrash or maybe over rated, or that its great but a waste of money etc etc. what are your views on art guys, and you have any ideas or tips to help me improve my hobby? can you give me some inspiration please :D

when painting I close my eyes and the first thing I see I paint.
if by some chance what you paint ends up not to look at all like what you imagined in your mind, then go back in time and change what you were thinking about to match the painting. :D

okay that wasn't much help. if you like to paint do it, if you don't like it then don't.

the point of art is to express yourself, if you have nothing that can be expressed through water colors, then maybe you should use a different medium ( my kids like pastels)
