This is it ladies and gentlemen I found this link on NBC news the other day, and it said that the world is coming to an end. :( A recent information leak at NASA revealed that a giant cloud of unstable particles is heading towards this solar system and its estimated arrival time is 9:15 a.m. EDT on June 1, 2014. This is a related link that I found.

Silly foreigner! The fact that many Americans read Weekly World News regularly should be obvious.
The percentage of Americans who believe in witches has almost doubled since 1990. The figure now stands at 26 percent, with another 15 percent willing to say that "there might be witches" (Gallup poll reported by the Seattle Times).
Americans will believe anything!

Oh, for a second there I thought you were talking about the Mayan calendar. Darn those Mayans.
Poorly played overall, however. If you were more serious in the whole business of instigating panic and things like that, you would have disguised the link better. Better luck next time.

Yeah, that one's perversely funny too.
There was some detail in the "Melting Tower of Chocolate" story about a person getting hit with an ornamental chocolate cornice as the edifice collapsed that caught my eye.
This story's even funnier, and this one really happened.
http://money.cnn.com/2005/06/22/news/funny/ice_pop/
One description I read shortly after the incident told of people running in terror from the deluge of strawberry-kiwi-flavored death. (Or something like that; I've probably embellished it a bit.)
I don't know why, but giant melting confectionery is just funny. Except when it's my sno-cone, darn it!

The Article contradicts itself-
If it's moving at the speed of light, how would it get here by that time if it's 28,000 light years away? Taken straight from the article. It would take 28,000 years if it's even real... which I doubt.
