In order to show my support for a black - yellow - green coalition in Germany I will fly the jamaican colours from now on .... hope many of you will follow.
Um meiner Unterstützung für eine schwarz-gebl-grüne Koalition in Deutschland kund zu tun, werde ich ab heute die Flagge Jamaicas für meine Nation verwenden ... ich hoffe auf ähnliche Unterstützung von vielen ...

Pray tell what German parties are represented by the colors black, yellow and green?
well the SDP is red, the Greens are Green(duh), but who is yellow and black? I have this nagging feeling that black may be a neo-nazi party... but I could be wrong of course. Kinda hoping I am really.
you ARE wrong. black is the color of what they call the christian democratic union. left-center. yellow is the free liberal democrats. economy-focussed liberals.
well, fist of all, i'm not gonna change my flag. think of all my poor people who'll need re-adjusting! how ould you like to have to re#adapt to a new flag?! and think of all the waste you're producing, having to dispose of all the old flags..no no no.
plus, i'm way apart from supporting the jamaica coalition *vomits*

Black just seems like the perfect color for a Neo-Nazi party though... I mean they're neo-nazis! They can't be like pink or yellow or blue or something.
But since Nazis suck, I guess it serves them right not getting a cool color.

It had to happen eventually.
There was an election in Germany over the weekend (also New Zealand and Afghanistan) but it was indecisive and they are looking at putting together a coalition to run the country. Napoleon said he would rather fight a coalition than be part of one, but there are a large number of persons who remember what it was like when only 1 person ran Germany and it is not generally held to be a good idea.
Anyway, the Christian democrats define themselves with the colour black (very popular) the Free democrats with the colour yellow and the green party with some other colour.
Black, yellow, green. Very Nice. Hopefully some of the characteristics we associate with the Jamaican mindset might replace some of the rather well know traits many of us imbue the Teutonic types with.
