She's lived this long - odds are she'll last the next 3 1/2 months, which will put us comfortably into next year.
And then we get to have King Charles III. Hopefully he'll do better than the first two British kings named Charles did.

Well, i don't really care, but when she does, the monarchy goes down the toilet. So i suppose as an anti-monarchist i should vote "yes", but she seems lik an inoffensive old biddy (unlike her mother, the evil fascist bitch). So i don't care. I can stand a few more years of them before Charlie sends it tits up.

Listen... you brits don't like the heirs in general, so I have a proposal. Now I have a free bloc of time from about now till 2060 or so - so how about when the Queen, God save her, passes on, I become King. I promise not to get in any sex scandals, get a princess killed, dissolve Parliament, spend extravagently, show up at ANY parties in a Nazi uniform, get drunk all the time or make Britain look bad.
In exchange I'll need the title of King of course, and whatever property comes with that. Especially that pimp-ass carriage.
So, what do you think? Sounds like a sweet deal to me. I can start immediately...

I believe President Bush is somewhere around 12,000. I know he's very vaguely related anyway. Which is worrying...

It handled the masses quite well before - "Celebrate the Red Mass", as it was called.
As for the Queen, well, anyone who has handled that cantakorous bunch of royal brats deserves every erg of life she can get, so I wish her longer life. She's not my ruler, so my preferences are slight.

I was looking at the line of succession (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Line_of_Succession_to_the_British_throne) after her and well they have 883 people, including the royal families of Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and the Netherlands. Also, if the Spanish were not Catholic. In addition, several Germans, Russians and Greeks are also in the line. It's quite interesting what Victoria did.
