Dude, you just managed to make Catholicism terrifying for me. The absolute LAST thing I want to see when I visit a website is a great big picture of the CREEPIEST looking Pope we've probably ever had.

Shaaaaaame.

Thanks, but we already found God. It's our turn to hide now, so don't tell him where we are or you'll spoil the game!

Yeah, Benidict XVI is kinda creepy looking, not a very forward-looking pope. I would of hoped for a more progressive pope that would allow the congration to have a little power like allowing them to fire a priest or allow priests to be married like in the Anglican Church.

Eh, I'm not sure bring about the whole priest marriage thing.....the original purpose was that priests could focus entirely on their congregation, which I definitely think should be the focus. I've always thought that the passion of the sermons in Protestant services was a little lacking, comparatively, and it doesn't strike me as unusual or bizarre to consider that a possible cause.

However, there ARE ways to get Catholicism as a priest and yet be married....and it does bother me that this particular loophole cannot apply nuns as well. But then, it all goes back to my original opinion on the subject....

In all honesty, I think that you would've been relatively nonplussed anyway.

Actually it was to prevent the children of priests from inheriting the large wealth from the church. Biblically priests/clergy were allowed to be married and it says that it is better for them to be married. Plus it would get rid of that whole nasty molestation problem.

I would also point out that both Anglican and Orthodox churches allow priests to marry.

Yeah, you're right, things like that don't impress me.
