Boredom... Anybody else extremely bored?
I've been up since, oh, 6:53 AM, and I'm bored as fuck. I played some Ultima Online, but that didn't help much. Music isn't helping, either, which is odd...
...So, who else is as bored as I am, and who knows of a way to alleviate this?

I was at least that bored when I was unemployed.
I advocate getting a job. Not too many hours a week, though, or they get annoying. Sadly, this means applying for jobs, going to interviews, etc., which is very boring indeed.
EDIT: Thinking about it, being a student is far more interesting than being employed, although the money's worse. If you're able, go to university instead of getting a job.
In the short term Psychonauts (http://www.psychonauts.com) is an interesting and fun little game...

I can't get a job, because I'm on welfare. If I do get a job, even a minimum wage one, we'll get kicked off (me, my brother, and my dad). I can't get a job, simple as that.
Psychonauts is supposed to be very good, but I don't have any consoles. Any. The last ones I've got (Sega Genesis w/Sega CD, NES) are being sold on eBay by my dork of a brother.

The best option then is to fire up your imagination, grab some tissues and retire to your bedroom...
Failing that, Miniclip.com has some great timewaster games.

Are you allowed to volunteer to work in a charity shop or something? It'd get you out of the house, meeting people, and be something to go on the CV to show you weren't always just staring at the walls!
The American welfare system sounds very odd. I don't understand it at all, so can't help. Sorry :(

It's available on PC too (I have no consoles, either). I'm sure it's available in the US, but I got it from DVD Box Office (http://www.dvdboxoffice.com) in Canada.

I'm never bored. It's when I have the least amount of things to do that my mind is at its most active stage. I have an entire other life inside of my head which is probably more interesting than my actual life.

1: You do not want to know people who work in charity shops in this town. They're fundies...
2: 'Tis extremely odd. It's not something to help you out --- It's a trap.
3: Ah, Game Informer said it was only available on consoles... Odd!

Too true. In my mind:
I have more friends.
I have money.
I have that collection of swords I've always wanted.
I actually have a girlfriend.

I came to class, I saw the message board, I conquered sleep.

That's no excuse! Just... well if you can't pretend you're one of them, I suggest just keeping quiet if they go into a "gays goin' to hell" rant. Work in a charity shop, you'll be helping people! Live your ideology!

Unless you have a test in that class, skip it! The chance to see a president may never present itself to you again.

I am seriously considering do such but I have a test the next time I have this class so it might be a review session and I can't miss that.

I'd really like to, but you'd have to be around these people to understand...

Run up to someone with a block of cheddar, shove it in their faces and shout "SMELL MY CHEESE YOU MOTHER!!!" before running out screaming "I've got cheese!".
Interesting, right?
