All we have to do is to change it to...

"One nation under...

KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!"

Everyone wins. Am I right?

LOL!

Seriously though, we could just go back to the pre-1950's pledge. "One nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

It's prolly easier than being under Khan. =)

I saw the Leeeeeeeeeeeeroy Jenkins video, I believe it wasnt' staged, as my friend does play with one of hte guys in the video, the guy taping just tapes all his games to improve his strategy. I love the last line; "At least I have chicken."

I support the Khan thing, once I get my uniform in, I'm goign to do that. One day its gion gto be, One nation under KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!

Except for Captain... er, Admiral Kirk.
I'm not so keen on the whole ear-worm deal, though.

I think that we should make a strong statement for civil rights and go the way the original writer wanted to but couldn't, "I pledge allegiance to the flag and to the republic for which it stands, on nation indivisible, with liberty, justice, and equality for all."

It’s I pledge allegiance to my flag. I like that part.

I say get it out of schools completely. Something developed by a Christian Socialist doesn't have any place in a federal republic.

Yes, the kids were required to say it (I was as well, even in the 70s and 80s). Repeating mantras is a nice brainwashing technique.

The original salute that goes with it is strikingly similar to another socialistic salute from the first half of the 20th century....it's almost as if Hilter took it from the Americans (since our schools were using the salute in the late 1800s).
