Who will form a colalition and win? Or will SPD and CDU join to make a grand colalition?
Who will be the next channcler when all the smoke is cleared?
They've both said a grand coalition isn't in the cards.

Hah! All the parties ruled out anything but the traditional coalitions. But now...I imagine that there is a fair bit of backpedalling going on already. Who knows what we'll end up with.

Only if Schroeder gets to keep his HoG position.
It wasn't in the cards, but the problem is that a government has to be formed, so there is no other choice than the Big Coalition

Or someone takes up the left party as a partner. Them, the greens and the SDP seem like a fit, but I doubt it will happen.
They've both said a grand coalition isn't in the cards. That was during the election campaigns and with reality dawning it that won't mean much.
Both coalitions have already declared that they won't ally with the New Left. Ahhh the proportional system... sometimes it brings up surprises

Just because both claim victory doesn't mean that both will rule. At the end of the day, one party head will find more support in the Bundestag than the other. So it may take a while before we have a clear idea who will be the new head of Germany. However, I do wish that, no matter who's chancellor, that his party has an outright majority. At this point in time, it'd be better if Germany was effectively guided by a bad policy, and not mired in constant gridlock.
