Jeb Bush's Son Arrested for Public Intoxication (http://aolsvc.news.aol.com/news/article.adp?id=20050916225709990001&ncid=NWS00010000000001)

First Shrub's coke and booze hanbit, then Noelle plays doctor, then the Twins get caught chugging on fake IDs, now this.

And people still think they're the most moral family in the world? No wonder the rest of the world thinks America's a joke.

Much as I hate Georgie boy and his brother Jeb, I don't think this story is much of a big deal. After all, who hasn't been drunk in public? I'd wager that most adults have, at one point or another, gone outside while plastered.

Not quite what I was expecting.... although it reminds me of this joke I made up about speculation as to what a Bush family dinner would be like -

GB Sr: So Jeb, how's Florida doing?

Jeb: It's not going too great. Just yesterday...

GB Jr: Ha-ha, you have a puny state and I have the country!

GB Sr: Yes, we know that son. Now Jeb, as you were saying?

Jeb: Well, the thing is, we had a hurricane, and I really need George to give my state some relief.

GB Jr: Pass me the peas and maybe I'll think about it.

Jeb: Give me hurricane relief!

GB Jr: Give me peas!

Both: DAD!!!!

GB Sr: Jeb, give him the peas. George, give your son hurricane relief or no Iraq for you tonight mister!

GB Jr: Awwww but dad!

GB Sr: No buts!

No political statements intended at all, just trying to be funny =P

Well, perhaps I'm the only one among you who has no justification for throwing stones. I've been charged with Drunk and Disorderly, Creating a Public Nusance ( sp? ), Driving While Under the Influence, and Assault. Of course all of that was when I was much younger, but then young men are more likely to do that sort of thing, especially when they've got a massive chip on their shoulder. No, I was never convicted, although perhaps I should have been. :D

Now, you can't drag the British royal family down because of Harry. For a start, he's not related to any of them.

As for this Jeb jnr thing - Is it because the Bush family are just idiots or is because they're so rich and powerful they know that no matter what they do isn't going to do squat to their positions?
The Bush family - Proving Darwin wrong one generation at a time!

Bush, Kerry & Hefner are cousins : "President George W. Bush and Sen. John Kerry are related. Well, sort of. They're ninth cousins, twice removed. So what's a little competition between family?

The two presidential contenders also share a widely known common relative, Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, who is the ninth cousin of both men (the number nine is a coincidence). Twice removed from Mr. Bush, Hefner is a slightly closer relation to Kerry, only once removed.

"Well I feel closer to Senator Kerry," Hefner chuckled, over the phone from the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles."

What has this Texan ex bar manager is going " WTF !" -what is the TABC ( Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission ) doing out on 6th street of Austin at 2 in the am arresting people- their thing is inside the 'phyical plant' ( ie building ) of the bar, watching liquor consumption, and working with other agencies to set up under- age sting projects.

It's the local cops who watch the street side action.

And the young man is definitely of legal age to be drinking.

The only thing I can guess is that since Austin is the state capitol, and home to UT, some one figured that rowdyism on 6th might bother the sleeping politicians ( naww...not gonna happen they're out there partying too ) ...Oh wait!...

throw the Long Horns off their game... ( Yes Texans take their foot ball very seriously - we really couldn't care less about the politicos ) :p

Hmmm, I wonder if all past presidents were related to one another somehow? Heh, a monarchy hiding behind the veil of democracy. Only thing is that the claimants of the throne, oops, i mean white house take turns. ;)

Well, whenever there's an US election, someone always comes out and 'shows' that the new President-elect is related to the British Royal family in some way. I suppose it's meant to show a ruling aristocracy or something.
But let's face it, if you're of english origins and go far enough back, you're bound to be related to pretty much everybody. Also, the rich and powerful in the US were pretty much rich and powerful in England before they came over. And 200+ years ago, if you were rich and powerful in England, you were related to the Royal family somewhere along the line.
