This deserves to get on the Darwin awards... is this man really that blind to the events in his own country? To the poverty he worsened?

soley on the stock market, totally ignoring real people
on the ground. people's lives. being able to feed themselves
and get housing and health care. trying judging by
the length of the bread lines, because people can be on
a full time job and still have to get food assisstance.

Mugabe is a brilliant, foreward thinking leader. He's cleared out the slums in order to prevent people from living in substandard, unsafe, overcrowded buildings. He's taken land from imperialist white farmers and redistributed it to the poor, indigenous black people. Everyone needs to understand that the western press simply wants to portray Mugabe badly in order to precipitate an invasion by racist western governments so that they can plunder the wealth of Zimbabwe.

Absolutely. The standards of living in Zimbabwe are up 800% since the land redistribution began, and trade has increased 50-fold. The amount of calories per day has quadrupled, industrial production is up 200%, and unempoyment is nonexistent. In fact, the economy grew 16% last year....

I thought so, but I wasn't sure. You are very insane, so you might say something like that.

At some point, Mugabe's mental decline will probably bottom out when he is seen running naked through the streets proclaiming himself to be the return of "black jesus", and this will make me very happy.
However, until that day comes he is just a thug and a twit who can only make the world a better place by leaving it.

Mugabe's been so Crazy for so Long that,well, it just isn't shocking anymore.

He's not stupid. He's very smart and very manipulative, and doesn't give a shit about his country. He is as onerous as Saddam Hussein.

No. I don't think he's a manipulative leader. I would actually say Kim Jong Il is.. he's managed to completely black out the press from his country. Zimbabwe on the other hand has received a huge amount of international press (and much is from reporters within the country).

I just think he's either ignorant or stupid.

and The West or South Africa cant do thing to him cos he is the darling to some of the big wigs in the ANC
