Go ithillids!

I thought it was illithids? Hm... no, maybe you're right. I dunno. All I know is that in Baldur's Gate II, they are the most horribly evil things to EVER have to fight.

And... I voted dark elves because, um... monkeys. Yeah, that's right. Monkeys.

FYI, FR is part of DnD.

Damn, that was a high acronym to word ratio.

My favorite race is the Aasimon, solely because of DiTerlizzi's artwork in the PS MCII.

Yep. It's Illithids. Otherwise, the abbrevation of the Flayers' name would be 'thids.

oh i play half elves not cause i like point ears so much as i myself am a mutt lol
and its a big difference tieflings really just smell bad, have bad breath maybe an ugly tail that sort of thing, they arent really that spectacular, but a fey'rii well they got experience adjustment +4 lol so that says it all, oh and half of them have wings. personally i hate playing power races like half dragons half celestials..its kind of lame lol i play humes and half elvaan

A Fey'ri is simply a elf tiefling. It is not a half-fiend.

Fey'ri is not a general term. It is a very specific term for a tiefling born from the mixture of elven (Gold Elf, IIRC) and tanar'ri blood, several generation down the line.

Well in the monsterous manual i have they call it a half fiend then they have names and one is Fey'rii they were very clear to in the hellgate keep entry too that it was populated by sun elf tieflings and Fey'rii so there is a difference i just looked it up

Edit: Fey'ri are a very specific type of tiefling.

I've only really ever played the computer versions, although I have read through/bought a few of the rule books when a friend and I were trying to convince our gaming group to try D&D in addition to the new version of WHFRP. I really just liked the background of the half breed races provided in the Races guide, escpecially the physicall characteristic changes they allowed. Glowing eyes and fangs = cool! ;)

oh manual is forgotten realms main book, and forgotten realms MMC 2 but the main info where it distinguishes is in the Hellgate keep entry in the high forest chapter of the main forgotten realms rule book, it distinguishes and i believe it even has the kit at the back of the book, with the shade kit, and me i love the computer games, i only play them now if i want to play D&D lol
Tannelorn

well its level adjustment on a Fey'rii is two so that may be a 1/3rd demon but it is definetly more demon then a Teifling otherwise no distinction would be made lol

What edition? That could explain it. I know in 3 and 3.5 Fey'rii are sun elf tieflings, and half-fiends are themselves.

Also tieflings are all humans . If its a "sun elf tiefling" its a Fey'rii. If its an "orc tiefling" its a tanarukk. If its a "halfling tiefling" its a wispling. If its a "dwarf tiefling" its something else that I forgot.

At least in 3 and 3.5.

Gotta love the dwarves. Grey, Gold, Shield, Wild, even 'em urdunnir dwarves. Personally, though, I gotta go with the arctic dwarves. They're a real man's small subrace.

why is the "What's New with Phil and Dixie - Sex and D&D" popping into my head?

Panel one:
"Centars perfere their own, due to their preference for strength, speed and stammina..."
a beautiful Female Centar: "ahhh.... nothing like a 10 mile run to put one in the mood for some all night Sex."
the panting and obviously exhausted human:"Help!"

Panel Two:
"...But are willing to try different things."
A Muscular Centar Male, straining with a hammer.
A Beautiful Human woman in the bed... obviously undressed: "if it's going to be that much trouble, you can wear your shoes in bed."

hmmm... thinking about it... I think my Favorite species is the What's New Dragon.
