Looking for an artist

I'm looking for someone who can draw comics anime-style. I've got this really great story I want to make into a webcomic, but I can't draw wortha shit, so I'm looking for someone who can write well and draw well and is active a lot on the internet so I can work together with them easily. If anybody can draw well, please give me an art sample for me to consider.

Mods-If there's a better place for this, please move it.

If you need help, I can help you. My work is good enough to be paid (which I have been *snaps - fails miserably). I can help you. Just hit me up on MSN or AIM and I'll see what I can do.

As for story writing, just take a look at some of my RPs, and you'll get a generic look. Some of them are good and some are bad though, so I suggest you might want to look at some different ones.

I'm talking about just drawing, I'll write, the other person draws the comic themselves.

Not perfectly anime-style, but here are some examples:

I'm no good with colour, though...

I've been thinking about doing a comic for quite a while now. Can I hear your story?

First two don't work (for me anyway)

Third one is cool.

And to stay on topic. I can draw stickmen really good.

And who are you to criticise? The first two are rather old, but they were some of the few I've got online. :p

Well people my friend was called to work at Disney Studios but he declined the offer, he become and independent producer and in doing so he created a cinemascope cartoon, if by any chance your interested i could put you in touch with him. Oh by the way hes currently based in athens greece so if the distance doesnt bother you perhaps you two could work something out.

P.S. Hes cartoon movies was sold to the government television network so i guess hes credentials speak for themselves, well i guess that i shoud leave upto you to decide.

The comci wil be based in the Forgotten Realms. Like I said, I'm going to need some samples before I choose, PM.

Cabra West, I might just say yes, but I'll need to give someone else a fair chance, I've had bad experiences with first choices.

My email is in teh post above you. Please email me the link to your manga so I can consider it.

Please note that this isn't going to be based on skill and style alone, it's how active you are so we can work together. If you're busy with a Manga or something and don't have time for both, that'll work against you.

For the record, this is for a webcomic, there will be no money or personal information involved. It'll be hosted on Keenspace or something where there's free hosting and stuff. So if you're looking to make a buck, um, no chance there. Unless we make it big. Real big. Like...Dominic-Deegan or AMD big. But not BnG big. Then we'd be whores like Dave Anez. You're lackin', man. You're lackin'.

Here's some of my sketches. It's not my best, but you can at least there's some texturing to the drawing. Not much, but meh, I'm not getting paid for this stuff specifically. I've worked with a couple of friends of mine on a comic before, and it went a little further, but nothing big.

As for your drawings, some examples of people drawings would be nice.

Well, I'm not sure how well I'd manage to get a webcomic done (I have a tendency to procrastinate, but it can be overcome!), or how well I'd be able to do layouts for pages, but I could very well try if you so chose me.

I suppose there would also be whether or not I could get into the story... but hey, I'm a fantasy fan, so that probably wouldn't be a problem.

I'm also a loser and am on the computer very often.

Drawing samples are as follows:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v367/Chimeran/MerLoki.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v367/Chimeran/SmexGuy.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v367/Chimeran/SheyBruin.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v367/Chimeran/RickLost.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v367/Chimeran/Engineer.jpg

Most of these are quick sketches without a base/skeleton/pose-in-mind, so a lot of the glaring atomical errors aren't ones that would occur in a more planned out piece.

Okay, to settle this: We're going to have a contest. I'm going to organize a bunch of panels for the 1st 2 comics and all artists draw what they think they should look like. Best two wins. Ties are possible. Sound good?

Artists, get your pencils ready! On your mark! Get set! Go!
1st comic:
1st panel-A group of orcs in the tundra are on a hill overlooking a small Barbarian camp. There are few people in the camp because most of the men are out hunting.
2nd panel-The orc leader, weilding a jeweled mithril axe, smiles and gives the order to attack.
3rd panel-The Orc archers fire their arrows into the camp, causing chaos and the Orcish warriors charge down the hill.
4th panel-The orcs make contact with the few remaining Barbarian warriors and the warriors of Tempos are defeated one by one.
5th panel-The warriors are left dead as the orcs raid the tents, stealing jewels and weapons.
6th-The orc chieftan walks into a tent and sees a woman cowering in the corner of her tent and he approaches her.
7th-The Cheiftan grabs her by the hair with an evil smile on his face
8th-The orc leader drags the woman out of the tent.

There will be no dialogue in the first comic. The second will have narrative dialogue boxes.

Toes teh line, but it's important to the story.

You are a remarkably good artist, if these are sketches.

Thankyou.

Though really, they're only sketches in that they weren't planned and most of them were drawn during my spare time in classes, and I DID pick my better drawings. My planned pieces aren't necessarily much better than my 'sketches' save some of the worse anatomical errors. See the top-one with the mer-person vs. the other ones. Also, the bottom one with the dinosaur-man is one I took longer on and was thought through more.

Also, to Green Sun, how long do we have to get this done and how small is a small camp (how many people/tents or so?)?
