It's that time of year again. I was going to hold these later, but there are more new posters than I had originally anticipated and so many older posters have left. If you win an award here, you can put it in your signature. I seperated the awards into several categories because what may be "best" for one may not be for the other. (Thanks for the idea, Melkor) I also made a few other changes.

The Third Posters Awards for Excellency in the Fields of General Debating and Posting.

The following awards are for those whom you believe are skilled debaters. They display a level of eloquence and professionalism that the average debater does not possess. They do not resort to using rhetoric, or if they do it is used minimally. They prove their points and do not resort to simply pulling emotional chords. These debaters are held in deep respect. Flaming is something with which their posts are not familiar. Their responses are not mired in fantasy, are rather based in reality. However, there are different levels of skill and the prizes for this category are listed below:

The following awards are for those posters whom you feel have gained your utmost respect. Their threads are highly anticipated and rarely turn into flames, if ever. Moderators only post their to comment, but never to warn the thread creator. These posters create threads that could be considered classics, the perfect representatives of Generalite culture. However, there are different levels of posting and the prizes for this category are listed below:

I realize that certain posters display certain characteristics. These characteristics are what make them unique and personify the very meaning of the words used to describe them. They stand out and they deserve recognition. The titles are self-explanatory:

This award is named after the always humorous Lunatic Goofballs.

The Award for Outstanding Sarcasm
This award is for someone whom you believe is the very epitamy of sarcastic.

The Award for Uncommon Insanity
This award is for someone whom you think is insane...and enjoying every minute of it!

The Award for Best New Poster
Thsi poster shows an eagerness to learn and has not resorted to insulting others.

Awards of Particular Recognition

Most Effective Moderation
This award is for the moderator whom you believe is the most effective and performs his or her duties with the highest degree of execellency.

Lifetime Achievement Award
This is the poster whom you believe has earned your respect and is amongst the most honorbale of posters. If they were to leave, their presence would be greatly missed.
Rules:
